Kristie Montoya, a valued board member of My Ashleah Inc., is a dedicated State Certified Counselor with over 25 years of experience as an educator, guidance counselor, and clinical therapist. With a B.A. from Western University in Silver City, NM, and a master’s in counseling from the University of Western New Mexico, Kristie has impacted countless lives throughout New Mexico, working with children and families to support positive growth and values.
Happily married and the proud mother of four children and twelve grandchildren, Kristie embodies a life of faith and service. Currently serving as a school guidance counselor in Artesia, NM, she volunteers her time and expertise to My Ashleah Inc., counseling young people on making wise choices and instilling lasting values. Her work extends to adults as well, where she provides compassionate counseling to those navigating life transitions, grief, spiritual challenges, and relationship struggles. Kristie’s heart for service and commitment to building stronger communities make her an invaluable asset to the My Ashleah Foundation.
